How it Works

A central server handles licensing and erasure reporting. The licences reside in a USB Key attached to the server, which is as easy to refill as sending an e-mail. The most common scenario is to connect the hard drive you wish to erase to a networked PC. This PC then connects to the OES Server automatically over the network where the license is validated and the session logged, allowing the erasure process to begin. Once the process is complete, a report will be sent back to the server.

If the PC to be erased cannot be connected to the network, simply use a Mobile USB Key to connect the PC.
