Extend the life of your old PC

~ Ontrack Disk Manager 4.0 breaks 32 gigabyte barrier ~

Ontrack’s newly released Disk Manager® 4.0 allows users to increase the size of their computers’ hard drive, without the expense of buying a replacement PC.

Many older computers are subject to a BIOS limitation that prevents users from taking full advantage of a larger drive. PC enthusiasts and computer technicians can use Disk Manager 4.0 when they install a new drive to overcome the standard 32 gigabyte restriction and make full use of the space available.

“As PC users increasingly continue to download Internet, video, audio and multimedia files, hard drives can fill quickly. Installing a bigger hard drive is a great way to get a couple more years out of an older PC,” said Ben Allen, general manager at Ontrack Europe.

Ontrack Disk Manager 4.0 supports installation of any manufacturers’ hard disk drive, including Fujitsu, IBM, Maxtor, Quantum, Samsung, Seagate, Toshiba and WD. It is designed to work on any ATA/IDE drive and supports DOS, Windows 3.X, 95, 98, NT, Me and 2000 operating environments. It also contains a new graphical interface that guides users through the installation process with ease.

It is available for £46.99 and the upgrade is available for £35.99 (include. VAT). Both can be purchased at www.ontrack.com or by calling free on 00 800 10 12 13 14.
